General Rules and Age Requirements

Age: Queen ages 19-25 ($70) as of May 1st

Teen queen ages 16-18 ($60)

Princess ages 13-15 ($50)

Exhibition 13-26 ($50)- any county/state

Montana resident of the following counties: Custer, Carter, Big Horn, Powder River, Fallon, Prairie, Treasure, Dawson, Wibaux, Rosebud, Dawson and Yellowstone, or full time college student in one of those counties during the year of rein.

Single, never married or pregnant, and must remain so during the rein.

Western attire for all functions

Have a horse available that is parade, arena, grand entry, flag ready and safe at all times.

5x7 head and shoulders photograph in western attire and hat. We must have a signed release from professional photographers.

Horsemanship, pattern, flag run and buzz lap

Speech-Choice of topics presented at pageant for a 1:30 speech. No longer are prepared speeches required. Our pageant follows Miss Rodeo Montana categories.
